Sharing in the traditions of Ramadan (and the joyful Eid celebrations that follow this most holy month) has always been of the deepest importance at Dishoom.
For Muslims around the world, Ramadan is a time of private worship and spiritual discipline: but also of shared meals, and the togetherness that is so dear to us. Our Meal for a Meal initiative was also inspired by an act of zakat, or charitable giving. So it is our greatest joy to be able to gather people of all faiths during this auspicious time, to break fast and commune – with a little added help from our delectable Eid specials, and our magical Ramadan events.

Café classics for the holy month
Daily iftars and the festival of Eid al-Fitr are cherished times when loved ones joyfully gather together and enjoy veritable feasts. Dishoom chef-wallas will be cooking up café classics to celebrate and savour. Humble recommendations below:
Chicken Biryani:— Tempting and flavourful pot of chicken, ginger, garlic, mint, coriander and rice cooked together in the Kacchi style. An homage to Britannia’s Chicken Berry Pulao, with cranberries
Sheekh Kebab:— Minced lamb is marinated with green chilli, coriander and cumin, then grilled
Basmati Kheer:— Silky caramelised basmati rice pudding cooked nicely with vanilla-infused coconut milk, cardamom and cashews. Cooled and layered with blueberry compôte
